Google had better start upgrading YouTube's servers right now as in a sure-to-the-break-the internet collaboration psy is teaming up with none other than Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.
psy revealed the momentous news in an interview with L'Uomo Vogue, while also explaining a little more about the artists that he says inspired him growing up in South Korea.
"I just finished recording my next song with a legendary artist, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith," psy was quoted as saying "When I was in middle school, I literally cried when they were singing 'Crazy' or 'Amazing' or whatever, they were my lifetime role models, and now I am collaborating with Steven Tyler, what the fuck, man? I love my life."
Other influences cited during the interview included Queen, Bon Jovi, Aerosmithand Guns N' Roses. psy gave the most credit for his personal style to the late, great Freddie Mercury "His songwriting skills, I cannot even approach, but his showmanship, everything I know about the stage, I learned it from his videos."
psy also hinted that more big name collaborations are in the works. Personally, I think that if psy and Steve could get Miley Cyrus and her twerking in on the act they would have something that would even surpass the success of Gangnam Style, even if it would scar the eyes and brains of a whole generation of YouTube addicts.
