Watch: The Replacements Play Live Again After 22 Years

The Replacements have played live together again for the first time in 22 years as part of a Riot Fest leg in Toronto, NME reports.

As per confirmations made last week by the band, original members Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson were joined by renowned session musicians Josh Freese and Dave Minehan to form the reunion line-up.

Westerberg joked that an on-going 'wardrobe debate' had caused the two-decade hiatus: 'Sorry it took us so long (NME, Consequence of Sound)'.

The band are set to play two more Riot Fest shows throughout the rest of this year: In Chicago September 15 and in Denver September 21.
