The ballots are in and it is time to announce the lucky nominees for the ninth annual Carlton Dry Independent Music Awards. Leading the pack we have those BrisVegas rockers, Violent Soho with four nominations. No surprises as their song 'Covered In Chrome' was one of the most played Australian songs and charted at number 14 in the 2013 Triple J Hottest 100. They have been nominated for Best Independent Album, Best Independent Hard Rock, Heavy or Punk Album for their latest opus ‘Hungry Ghost’ and Best Independent Single or EP.
