Violent Femmes to Play Debut Album in its Entirety at Falls Festival




The Falls Festival organisers have pulled off a coup, confirming on the website seminal indie-pop trio Violent Femmes will be playing their self-titled debut album in its entirety at the 2013 Falls Festival.

The tour coincides with the 30th anniversary of the album that spawned signature hits 'Add it Up', 'Gone Daddy Gone', and of course, 'Blister in the Sun'.

With a line-up sporting The Roots, MGMT, and Beyonce's little sister Solange, things are getting pretty huge.

The festival started over 20 years ago in Lorne, Victoria, expanding to Marion Bay, Tasmania, and now to Byron Bay, NSW.

Violent Femmes bass player Brian Ritchie now lives in Tasmania and is the program director at the annual MONA FOMA Festival.
