triple j release Christmas Number 1 charity single

triple j - along with the Red Cross - have released their Christmas song, called appropriately enough ‘Christmas Number 1’.

Led by triple j's The Doctor the parody song features some pretty big names including Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon, Abbe May, Thomas Rawle from Papa vs Pretty, Elizabeth Rose Bertie Blackman, Tuka and Jeswon from Thundamentals, Joyride,Andy Bull, Laurence Pike from PVT, Touch Sensitive, Bree Tranter, Asta, Calum, James and Bryce from Lunatics on Pogo Sticks and the legendary B1 & B2 from Bananas in Pyjamas.

All the profits from the song will be donated to the Red Cross to be applied to local projects like
the Tasmanian and New South Wales bushfires and the Red Cross Save-A-Mate program and international efforts including the relief fund for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. You can check it out below and the download is available from iTunes at itunes.apple.com/au/album/triple-j-christmas-number-1/…
