Sydney Laneway Festival stop sells out

The Sydney leg of the Laneway Festival is all sold out, the Melbourne event is likely to follow suit any day and the Brisbane curfew has been extended to midnight, all of which bodes very well for the festival in general and the punters attending.

The sellouts are not surprising given the popularity of the names on the bill, with Lorde, CHVRCHES, Jagwar Ma and others scheduled to perform having featured high on all kinds of Best of lists in the last few weeks and the organisers scoring a victory in Sydney that saw them allowed to expand the concert's capacity from 8,000 to 12,000 and still sell out.
