Sum 41 Without Drummer

Sum 41 Without Drummer Steve Jocz

Canadian rockers Sum 41 have parted ways with their drummer Steve 'Stevo' Jocz after a 17 year stint.

With the band since their 1996 inception, Steve posted this announcement on regarding his departure from the band:

"I’m sorry to announce that I’ve decided to leave Sum 41.

Touring with the band has been an amazing experience that has taken us far beyond our old practice space in my parent’s basement to countless countries around the world. I’ve had the opportunity to see and experience so much and for that I am truly grateful.

I just want to thank all of our fans for making the last 17 years possible. I had a blast.

Thanks again,

Sum 41 have released five full length albums in their time and are currently working on a sixth to be released later this year.

The pop punk giants have become a house hold name in the rock world and Jocz' absence will no doubt be sorely felt.
