With annual three-day-festival Splendour in the Grass getting closer and closer, rumours for the lineup are getting festival goers excited.
The confirmed lineup is already pretty exciting, with Cold War Kids, James Blake, Polyphonic Spreeand Airbourne previously confirmed and The National only today confirming they will be making an appearance.
Now it's time to desperately piece together the clues to figure out who else could be rocking our cotton socks at Byron in July.
Alt J's national Australian tour hits Perth Saturday 27 July, Melbourne Tuesday 30 July and Sydney Wednesday 31 July, conveniently skipping Queensland and leaving a pretty little Splendour shaped hole in their tour.
Same with former Outkast rapper Big Boi, whose Aussie tour kicks off in Brisbane in August and hinted at a Splendour appearance via twitter.
Scottish synth wizzes Chvrches will be playing a Sydney show Friday 2 August and a Melbourne show Monday 5 August, which to us looks like a trip down the east coast, hopefully starting in Byron!
Then there are looser links Phoenix who have not confirmed an Aussie show but have a massive hole in their worldwide tour and could be back for a visit.
The Fuji Rock Festival held in Japan is also a pretty good indicator of who will make a quick stop-off in Oz for Splendour, so we're crossing our fingers for a visit from potentials such as The xx, Of Monsters And Men, Fun. and Death Grips.
The gig is booked in for Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July at the North Byron Parklands and the real lineup will be released in around a week, so we can stop playing music detectives.
