RNR for Mumford & Sons

English folk rockers Mumford & Sons have announced an indefinite hiatus with no guarantees of another albums in the making.

Last year’s Grammy winners for Album of the Year for Babel are excited about being free of schedules, with the idea feeling the last week of school before the holidays.

Keyboardist Ben Lovett recently spoke with the Rolling Stone about there not being any activities for Mumford & Sons for the foreseeable future: “I don’t think we’ve had actually much time in the process to be with other people and living a life outside of the band. I think that’s what’s in place at the moment, to do very little – especially when it comes to Mumford & Sons."

Marcus, Winston, Ben and Ted took together as Mumford & Sons in 2009 with their debut album Sign No More, with the smash hit ‘Little Lion Man’ and made number 1 for Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2009. The sophomore and follow-up was Babel, supporting via headline show at Glastonbury and T In The Park.
