Pink Floyd Set Spotify Challenge

Pink Floyd Set Spotify Challenge

'70s prog-rock gods Pink Floyd have announced that they will release their entire catalogue on music-streaming service Spotify IF fans stream their song 'Wish You Were Here' one million times.

The challenge was set Thursday night via Twitter.

Although EMI holds the rights to Floyd's music and have signed up to Spotify, Floyd weren't part of that deal.

The band has been resistant to digital downloads, suing EMI after the label allowed iTunes to sell Floyd track individually, rather than as albums only.

If you a) don't have Spotify or b) are too lazy to help, you can check out this live version of 'Wish You Were Here' instead.
