Pharrell Williams announces Future Music Festival appearances, solo headlining shows

Pharrell Williams has just been announced as a headlining addition to the Future Music Festival and will also be playing a couple of headlining shows alone along the way.

2013 probably could not have gone better for Pharrell. His appearance on Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky helped it become one of the most listened to songs in the world for the year and his contribution to Robin Thicke’sBlurred Lines’ was a biggie too and far more welcome than Miley Cyrus'. Then there is the fact that his own Happy has just earned him an Oscar nomination and somewhere along the line he also managed to find the time to marry longtime girlfriend Helen Lasichanh.

Pharrell also just scored another first with the release of 'the world's first 24 hour video clip' for the aforementioned Happy. The piece, which streams continuously at 24hoursofhappy.com/ features the likes of starring basketball legend Magic Johnson, actor Steve Carrell, Jamie Foxx and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Tickets for the Future Music Festival are onsale now and tickets for Pharrell's solo shows will go onsale on February 3.
