Pearl Jam And Guns N'Roses Set To Collaborate

The combination of Pearl Jam, Guns N'Roses and Screaming Trees members will be quite the treat for their fans. According to NME, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready will team up with Guns N'Roses alumnus Duff McKagan and Barrett Martin, the former drummer for Screaming Trees, as a new musical venture.

Although they have yet to come up with a name for their band, McCready told Billboard that they are open to having various singers join them. "Duff and Barrett and I got together. We wrote some new stuff and we took some of those old Mad Season demos from that second Disinformation record, so we are trying to find something to do with those. We're talking to Jaz from Killing Joke and I've been trying to find some singers to work on some of that stuff."

Mad Season, which saw McCready and Martin collaborate with Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley, were popular in the 90s and released one album entitled Above. Disinformation was supposed to be their second album but it was never released.
