Neutral Milk Hotel Reunite

Indie rock band Neutral Milk Hotel have reunited after an almost fifteen year hiatus.

The band, fronted by the legendary Jeff Magnum, have announced five shows, commencing in Athens, Georgia in the United States and ending in Tokyo, Japan.

The Vine have confirmed rumours that Neutral Milk Hotel will tour Australia.

The band posted a typically bizarre statement on their website regarding the reformation: "and of water course womb rume is a wandering the welkin woman whose fune caul is all umbilical cord code that comes equipped with read volve vît curtains that čun seel my văl én tich radio reason in remembrance of mademoiselle gabrielle and her wone tym pad lock of burd language as it borders on twin tolk the wolk king wall of woolpack pigeons pointing to the fly blind readers riddle and his rian boh."

The lineup will be the classic Neutral Milk Hotel that formed after debut album On Avery Island, featuring Jeff Mangum, Jeremy Barnes, Scott Spillane and Julian Koster.

Their second album, 1998's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is considered an indie rock classic, however the band parted ways only a year after its release.

Fingers crossed for an Australian announcement soon!
