Midnight Oil Manager Quits To Quash Reunion Rumours

Midnight Oil manager Gary Morris has quit just to prove that the band aren't reuniting anytime soon.

The Oilers - arguably Australia's greatest band - have been chased by reunion rumours after frontman Peter Garrett quit politics last month.

They split in 2002 after a string of critically acclaimed albums such as Diesel and Dust and Blue Sky Mining.

Garrett said: "We truly did accomplish amazing and enduring things working together and we should treasure that, now and in the future."

The future won't include new music, though. At least for now.

Despite this, you can still get an Oilers fix with this video for 'King Of The Mountain'.

Insert political punchline here.
