Michael Jackson / Freddie Mercury Duets To Be Released

Michael Jackson / Freddie Mercury Duets To Be Released

A set of duets recorded by king of pop Michael Jackson and Queen frontman Freddie Mercury are set to be released, 30 years after they were recorded.

Queen guitarist Brian May has confirmed that 'There Must Be More to Life Than This', 'State of Shock' and 'Victory' will drop in spring.

He calls the songs "exciting, challenging, emotionally taxing - but cool."

These descriptors could also apply to the recording sessions, which were supposed to lead onto a bigger project.

Jim Beach, Queen's former manager, told Rolling Stone about the sessions.

He said: "Mercury rang me and said...you've got to get me out of here, I'm recording with a llama."

(Yeah, you didn't really expect two of the greatest singers of all time to get along perfectly, did you?)

While you wait for the songs to finally appear, get in the mood with this vid for another Mercury duet: 'Under Pressure' with David Bowie.
