Lorde's 'Pure Heroine' hits one million US sales as Bruce Springsteen covers 'Royals'




Lorde's growing dominance of the world continues as it has been announced that her debut album Pure Heroine just hit the one million mark in sales in the US and The Boss himself Bruce Springsteen covered Royals when his High Hopes world tour landed in Auckland at the weekend.

Lorde's stellar sales Stateside are the best for a debut album by any artist since Adele released her debut '19 in 2011. Her second single released in the US, 'Team is sitting at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as well, dispelling the notion that she is a one hit wonder.
