Kanye West the subject of new book that covers his 'cultural impact'

In a boost to Kanye West's already massively over inflated ego he is now the subject of a 300 page scholarly text book.

The book's title 'The Cultural Impact of Kanye West' is enough to bolster Yeezus' god complex and the fact that the author, Julius Bailey, then goes on (and on) about "the moral and social implications of West’s words, images, and music in the broader context of Western civilization’s preconceived ideas, the contributors consider how West both challenges religious and moral norms and propagates them" should make him feel even more important.

Bailey is quite the hip hop academic, having published books in the past on Jay Z and on philosophy in hip hop. Although we are a little too addled from the Christmas binge to dive into this fascinating tome at the moment we are sure it's very good, but for now maybe we'll stick to the laughfest that is watching Kanye and his soon to be Missus be all culturally important on Keeping Up With The Kardashians instead.
