Fallout Boy Top The US Charts With Comeback Album



American pop-punk band Fallout Boy have proved that absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder, as their comeback album Save Rock and Roll quickly shot to number one in the US.

The Illinois rockers began their four-year hiatus in 2009 in order to pursue other musical projects which would not have been possible while the band was still active. After solo albums, splinter bands and DJing ventures, the band took to Twitter in February to announce their return with an album and tour.

Their critically-acclaimed album, which spawned the hit debut single ‘My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark’, has granted the band their second number one album.

The band publicised their celebrations via Twitter with the tweet:

“Dinner out to celebrate our number 1 album. Andy Hurley pictured with a handful of singles.”

Fallout Boy are currently touring Europe to promote the album and will then proceed to the American leg of the tour.
