Dead Letter Circus U.S Tour Almost a Washout

Midway through their tour to promote their new album ‘The Catalyst Fire’ Brisbane's Dead Letter Circus almost found themselves unable to continue, thanks to the government shutdown in the USA.

The US shutdown meant that the band's US work visas had not been processed and their actual passports were locked in a drawer somewhere in the shuttered US Embassy. Their chances of making it to the US for that leg of the tour were slim and the dates were scrapped.

Making the most of the open spot in their schedule, Dead Letter Circus were offered a last second spot at the Euroblast Festival in Germany where they were very well received. Things got even better when at the last minute their US visas were approved and the band have now been able to join Periphery for a whirlwind 30 date tour of the USA and Canada.
