Sydney's annual Come Together festival has been cancelled today following poor ticket sales.
Organizers issued the following statement: “We regret to announce that due to ticket sales not reaching their targets we have decided to cancel this year’s Come Together. The event remains as one of Sydney’s only all ages concert experiences and for the last 10 years has provided many developing acts the opportunity to play the big stage and help build their fan base.”
The festival would have featured the likes of Funkoars, Jackie Onassis, Remi, Diafrix, Citizen Kay, Briggs, Mr Hill & Rahjconkas, Miracle, and Mind Over Matter with Kerser at the top of the bill.
In the lead-up to the festival promoters have offered ticket reduction promotions, such as 'buy three get one free', in an attempt to woo prospective punters.
They said they're hoping the festival - which has been held for the last ten years at Luna Park - will return in 2015.
