Church's Steve Kilbey and Soft Boys' Robyn Hitchcock announce joint Australian tour

Despite the fact that he is known as one of the great modern Australian musicians The Church's Steve Kilbey was actually born in the UK (he moved to Oz at the age of three.) Not too far from where he was born another musician Robyn Hitchcock, later of The Soft Boys lived at the same time. Despite the slight connection the two had never really met until recently. It must have been a good meeting though as the two have just announced they will be embarking on a short Australian tour together.

Armed only with their guitar the duo will mine a joint catalouge of about a 1,000 songs to provide what should be a very interesting evening's worth of entertainment.

Tickets for all shows go onsale March 17 at tombowler.com.au/hitchcock-kilbey/
