Charlie Parr Returns To Australia

Retro-blues master Charlie Parr returns to Australian shores this October.

Parr makes a return for the first time in several years showcasing songs from his latest studio album Barnswallow.

City Pages USA describes Parr as: “Parr may not know it, or he may not believe it, but when it comes to real folk music, he sweeps the category. Barnswallow might be Parr's strongest record yet, and it's certainly his most triumphant.”

Parr has supported the likes of Paul Kelly, You Am I and shared the stage at the renowned Falls Festival, Sunset Sounds, Southbound and Wave Rock.

Charlie Parr will hit the road with supporting act Andrew Morris of The Wilson Pickers, and guitarist for fellow Brissie lad Bernard Fanning who will be launching his new single ‘Flicker’ from the album The Situationist.
