Blur Broadcasts New Songs On British Television

In a return to form, the Splendour In The Grass 2015 headliners Blur appeared on last night's episode of 'Later... with Jools Holland' on BBC Two in England. Blur debuted two new songs from their hotly anticipated album 'The Magic Whip'. It will be Blur’s first album in twelve years, to be released worldwide on the 27th of April 2015. It is also the first to feature the return of guitarist Graham Coxon, since 1999's '13'. You can pre-order 'The Magic Whip' now through iTunes.

The band, performed in front of a neon version of 'The Magic Whip' artwork, with an highly charged Damon Albarn grabbing one of the ice cream props during the band's performance of the rowdy rocker, 'I Broadcast'.

The second song was a much more laid back number, 'Ong Ong', that had a troupe of backup singers on hand to sing the "la la la" harmonies.

Other song already released from 'The Magic Whip' include, 'Go Out', 'There Are Too Many Of Us' and last week's release of 'Lonesome Street'.
