The Byron Bay Bluesfest is just weeks away and just when you might have though that this year's big line-up could not get any better comes the sixth lineup announcement which was headed up with the official addition of UK blues queen Joss Stone
Joss is no stranger to the festival, she first played it as a teenager. Although she seems like she is a veteran now, returning after a string of hits including Super Duper Love, You Had Me and I Put A Spell On You with Jeff Beck and a budding acting career, at just 26 she actually probably still has all of her best years ahead of her.
Also announced on the sixth lineup is Grammy winning zydeco musician Terrance Simien, Australian singer-songwriter Glenn Cardier, 80's legends Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Melbourne blues vets Chain along with the comedy folk stylings of The Beards.
Rounding out this new line up announcement are Nahko & Medicine For The People, Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, Cambodian Space Project and 17 year old Illinois blues guitar protegee Matthew Curry
The remaining Festival and Camping tickets are on sale through bluesfest.com.au
