Beyonce who? Kate Bush sells out 22 London shows in 15 minutes

Kate Bush has not toured - or even played live much - since 1979. She is going to change all of that by returning to the Eventim Apollo London, where she last played 36 years ago, for a run of 22 shows. Proving that absence only makes the heart grow fonder, every single one of the shows sold out within fifteen minutes of the tickets going on sale.

Given that she has been lured out of semi retirement in such a big way now bookies in England have begun taking bets that she will be persuaded to tackle another first - a festival appearance - by headlining Glastonbury in 2015. Currently Paddy Power are offering 9-1 odds that she will.

With the tickets for her 'Before The Dawn’ residency so hot it is little surprise that the prices being charged on eBay and by scalpers are getting a little bit silly. Face value on the tickets ranges from £49-£135 but on the secondary market the average selling price is around £750 -£1,000.

Then there were these tickets, 'Kate Bush VIP Passes' that were seriously onsale on eBay, as documented by Metro, for a day last week and even garnered 26 bids before the prankster pulled the auction:
