Beastie Boy Mike Diamond Drops New Single

It's been about a year since the passing of founding Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, so Michael 'Mike D' Diamond has decided to break the band's silence with a fresh offering.

The track has been dubbed 'Humberto vs the New Reactionaries: Christine and the Queens Remixx' and the original cut goes for about ten minutes.

The song comes from a commission deal between Diamond and fashion label Kenzo, who are using the tune to accompany promotion of their 2014 lines.

The track is touted to feature shades of early Beastie-grade punk with contemporary tones. Diamond collaborated with Kenzo's creative director, Umberto Leon, to produce the work.

Despite the fresh release Diamond and fellow surviving Boy Adam 'Ad Rock' Horowitz have not confirmed further material for fans.
If you've got ten minutes to spare, give it a play.
