Andrew Strong and The Commitments announce Australian tour dates

Andrew Strong was just 17 years old when he played the role of the big voiced, full of attitude Deco in the 1991 cult classic the Commitments. His musical path since has been varied. His band The Bone Yard Boys keeps him busy but he also still has strong ties to the music that saw him nominated for a Grammy. Last year he headed to Australia with the reformed version of The Commitments and they sold out the shows. Now they are headed back for more of the same in July.

In 2013 Strong also released a solo album Live, The Commitments Years & Beyond showcasing not only his Commitments days but work he has done in the two decades since which has included performing with the likes of Elton John, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and Bryan Adams and some of those offerings will be showcased on the new tour as well.
