Big Day Out announces last round of acts for 2006

With the Big Day Out looking at selling out all 2006 shows in record time, all remaining acts have been announced.


Joining the already amazing line-up next year will be: Mudvayne, The Go! Team, The Subways, Mylo, DJ James Murphy, The Greenhornes, Vitalic, Common, Edan, Jean Grae, M.I.A., Cagedbaby, Mu, Beatbox Band, Shihad, Wolfmother, Kid Kenobi and MC Shureshock, The Hilltop Hoods, Cog, The Beasts of Bourbon, Sonicanimation, Sarah Blasko, DJ Ajax, DJ Jason Midro, Airbourne, The Presets, Fast Crew, Bit by Bats and Drag.


Locally, the following acts have been named for each event:


Gold Coast: Japunga, Shifter, Transport, Intercooler, Parkway Drive, Soma Rasa, Giants of Science, A Secret Death, The Combovers, Braxton, The Winnie Coopers, DJ Goodfellas, Teschnik, DJ Scott Walker and Magoo, Coalition and DJ Bulge


Sydney: Tourettes, Peabody, Red Riders, Kiosk, The Herd, Will Styles and Learned, Hand, Loonaloop, DJ Mark Murphy and DJ Ben Morris


Melbourne: Augie March, The Casanovas, TZU, British India, The Vandas, Harlequin Smile, True Live, Diafrix, LadiesLuvHipHop, DJ Toupee, DJ Kano, Cutting Room Floor and DJ Declan Kelly
