Daft Punk will play live at Grammys with Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and Nile Rodgers

Yes, it appears that Daft Punk really do intend to give a live performance at the Grammy at the end of the month and that they have apparently roped in Stevie Wonder, among others, to join them on the stage on January 26.

The news comes from drummer Omar Hakim, who was featured on a number of the tracks on the Grammy nominated 'Random Access Memories', in a YouTube video he posted discussing his own future plans as well as his surprise that an 'EDM band' ever wanted acoustic drums on an album in the first place or a drummer better known for his work with Patti LaBelle, Sting and Dire Straits. He says that he will be at the Grammys with Daft Punk, as will Nile Rodgers, Pharrell and yes, Stevie Wonder. Now this almost sounds like a Grammy number worth tuning in for..

You can watch Omar's entertaining interview below (he's quite a character)
