Flume, Remi, Clubfeet the big winners at J Awards

The J Award winners have been announced with Flume being awarded the prestigious Australian Album of the Year for his self titled debut over some pretty stiff competition.

Flume was not able to receive the award himself, although he did appear by video link from the UK. In his absence his Dad Glen stepped in to pick up the gong and say a few nice words about the radio station; "As a parent, you try and give you kids as much of opportunity to do what they want to do. triple j gives them an opportunity that no parent can."

With two of his tracks - Sangria and Saggin’ - being cited as exemplary Melbourne emcee Remi picked up the J Award for ‘Unearthed Artist Of The Year’ and to round it all out the 'Australian Music Video Of The Year’ award went to director Josh Thomas for masterminding Clubfeet's eminently watchable clip for 'Everything You Wanted.
