Newtown Festival Line Up Announced: Dappled Cities, The Snowdroppers, and more.

Sydney's Newtown Festival is back with a line up that includes Dappled Cities, Home Brew (NZ), The Snowdroppers, Tuka & The Basement Big Band, Nicky Bomba & Friends, Palms, Oscar Key Sung (of Oscar and Martin), Guineafowl, All The Colours, She Rex and Gay Paris.

Celebrating Newtown's diverse community and raising awareness of the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and its programs, Newtown Festival has been kicking around since the 1970’s, drawing upwards of 80,000 people to Camperdown Memorial Park each year.

All acts are performing for free, and entry to the festival is by donation. However, with the average donation per attendee being less than 50 cents per person in past years, organisers are hoping to get the average up this year towards $1 per person mark. The Dwarf suggests you up that to a $5 note, and see what good luck it brings your way. Better still, if you want to get in ahead of the crowds, make a donation to Newtown Community Centre via newtowncentre.org/festival/…

The festival this year takes place on Sunday 10th November. In the spirit of good fun for all ages, there's a no glass, no BYO and no entry after 5pm rule.
