Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory Fine After Being Electrocuted On Stage




New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert has been given the all-clear and released from hospital after suffering from an electric shock on stage on March 28.

The band were recording their show at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California for a live album when Gilbert was shocked by a faulty microphone.

According to fans, the rest of the band finished an abbreviated set without Gilbert who was taken back stage after collapsing from the shock.

The guitarist has released a short message since the incident, saying:

"Hey everyone. I just now got out of the hospital. They did tests all night on my heart & I'm all good. Thanks for your love & support!"

Chad Gilbert is one of the founding members of New Found Glory, who have released seven albums since forming in 1997.
