Justin Timberlake & Marcus Mumford Team Up On The Soundtrack To The New Coen Brothers Film

Get ready to 'Rock Your Body,' in an entirely new way. One-man entertainment tour de force Justin Timberlake has let it slip that he's working with folk hero Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack to the new Coen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis, which sees a singer-songwriter navigate New York's folk music scene during the 1960's.

In the film, Timberlake plays Jim Berkey, the music rival to singer-songwriter Llewyn Davis, played by Oscar Isaac whom you would recognize from Drive and The Bourne Legacy.

Timberlake dropped this juicy tidbit of information whilst chatting to the UK's Capital FM, explaining that as well as 'What Goes Around... Comes Around,' the collaboration came about “coincidentally”, despite co-starring in the film next to Carey Mulligan, who is 'LoveStoned'/married to Mumford. Mulligan is the 'Señorita' that stars as Llewyn Davis' wife Jean Berkley.

"There's a Coen brothers film coming out soon [and] I was lucky enough to work with Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan," said Timberlake. "And coincidentally I did work with Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack, so I became very good friends with them."

"Marcus and myself we all kind of worked on the music together and I don't know any other world where we would have the opportunity to collaborate like that. But it was so much fun. So not only will that be a great movie, but the music to it will be fantastic."

If this news excites or intrigues you, then fear not, as there's no need to 'Cry Me A River', as both the film and the soundtrack are due out this year, and so far, from what I've heard, its all good things, so 'I'm Lovin' It'.
