DZ release new single ‘Gebbie Street' and announce fundraising shows

Fresh from familiarising themselves with the QLD Police Force atone of the many warehouse parties they've been playing at lately, Brisbane two piece DZ are today releasing their new single ‘ Gebbie Street'.

‘Gebbie Street', which was produced by DZ and Neil Coombe at The White Room Studios, is a slight departure from the band's previous singles ‘Blue Blood', ‘Teeth' and ‘The Mess Up'. The track features old school hip hop beats coupled with a modern indie groove that'll have a crowd dancing before they get hit by a big ol' wall of dirty guitar and bass.

East Coast folks will have the chance to hear ‘Gebbie Street' live when the band play a stint of Fundraising Shows in Brisbane, Toowomba, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.

DZ will be storming NYC in October, and as we all know, surviving there is quite expensive. Your help will keep DZ fed, homed and hopefully clothed while there.

It's been a big 12 months for DZ. Known for their energetic live shows in trashed lounge rooms and warehouse parties, the band supported Crystal Castles on their Australian tour. DZ have also toured with the likes of RATATAT (US), Midnight Juggernaughts, The Grates, Die!Die!Die!, Cut Off Your Hands and many more, as well as taking to the stage for festivals like Big Day Out, Park Life, Sunset Sounds and a slew of others.

In September last year DZ released their debut EP ‘ Ruined My Life' through local label Useless Art Records which sold over 600 copies in pre sales alone even before the lead single ‘Blue Blood' had received any radio rotation.
