They've been sending postcards from Europe for the past two months, but now Sydneysiders Sparkadia are back on their home turf and ready to kick off an extensive album tour across the country. The four-piece will celebrate a massive year that included a slot at Glastonbury Festival and praise from local and international critics with their biggest national headline run to date.

Featuring the singles ‘Too Much To Do’, 'Jealousy', ‘Morning Light’ and ‘Animals’, Sparkadia's debut album ‘Postcards’ hit the ARIA album chart at an impressive #23 and was chosen as triple j's feature album. In their review of the album, influential UK mag NME declared that frontman Alex Burnett's voice "is like having warm honey poured in your ears".

And now, fresh from playing shows across the UK Festival circuit including the aforementioned Glastonbury, T in the Park, Oxygen, and V Festival as well as Frequency Festival in Salzburg and earlier dates with Jimmy Eat World, Vampire Weekend and The Thrills, Sparkadia are set to take their finely crafted live show on the wide open Australian road. With the band currently playing theatres across the country as special guests on the Faker tour and leaving fans wanting more, these dates are sure to sell quickly – get in fast!
