Fingerpicking punk-poet Tom Woodward has been residing peacefully in an ownerless old brick mansion just west of High St, Northcote; one of Melbourne's best kept secrets. He has been playing the odd show, taking the odd vitamin supplement, and gathering strength, waiting out the winter. With his gang of noise-nerds collectively known as "The Orphanage", he will re-emerge into the harsh world of indie-folk excess and debauchery for a month of Thursdays in October at the Edinburgh Castle.
