One of the hardest working rock bands in Australia, those Skybombers boys just don’t stop!

Right off the back of a national tour in support of their rocking new album Take Me To Town, and a recent support slot with Grinspoon, the Skybombers will keep the tour van engine running with an extended bunch of dates across the East Coast and Adelaide in July, taking Melbourne based punk rock trio Calling All Cars along for the ride.

There is no rest for the wicked though and the Skybombers will head overseas again next month for shows in the US before travelling to Japan for the Japanese release of Take Me To Town. In blistering form after some solid touring the past 12 months, these July shows will be the last chance for punters to check the band out before they depart!

Take Me To Town’s first single Always Complaining debuted at #1 on the AIR chart and #23 on the ARIA physical singles chart, and has gained solid airplay on Triple J and Nova.

From club crawling anthems to hangover cures; the thrill of young love to the darker side of teenage dreams, Take Me To Town is an album drenched in the eternal elixir of youth: reckless optimism, arrogant self-belief and the mixture of sky-bound riffs, grooves and melodies tailor-made for teenagers to strum on their first $40 acoustic guitar.

Take Me To Town is out now on Albert Productions.
