Angus and Julia Stone Announce Release of New EP and Tour!

The beginning of last year saw the formation of Angus & Julia Stone when they decided it made much more sense to work together than playing music alone. They pulled their demo songs together and created their debut EP Chocolates & Cigarettes which has gone on to do pretty exciting things.

Whilst in the UK in the latter part of the year, they were invited into Chris Potter’s studio (The Verve/Richard Ashcroft) to record….. In the meantime Fran Healy from UK band Travis who is a label mate, heard their debut EP and also invited them to his house to record. These recordings will be released as a companion piece with the first EP, initially as a single disc entitled Heart Full of Wine on 3rd February then as a double EP on 10th March.

Angus & Julia Stone will be heading out on their ‘Heart Full of Wine’ tour in February in both Australia and the UK along with picking up some Festivals along their travels. They will also be releasing some lovely self-directed videos from these EP’s which you can view on www.youtube.com/angusandjuliastone in the coming months. … as Music Week UK rightly stated…. “Catch them before they go electric”.
