Ben Lee returns home from the US to headline a series of regional shows along Australia’s east coast in addition to performing with his friend Missy Higgins in Australia’s major cities.
With his new album Awake is the new sleep' thrilling critics and fans alike, Ben has booked a number of dates across Australia to promote the release.
He is notably excited about the tour:

greetings from philadelphia where i am just about to embark on a big tour of the US with my friends ben folds and rufus wainwright.
since i was last in australia the non-stop tour madness has continued with shows around the states with aimee mann, as well as shows in spain and england. i also found time to make a quick 6 day trip to india to reconnect with the feelings and experiences that are driving this project forward. ive also been documenting the whole kit and kaboodle on my blog (www.ben-lee.com/blog.htm )...
'awake is the new sleep' has acted as a sort of magnet in my life for meeting like-minded creatures this year. everywhere i go ive been bumping into people who want to make and listen to POP MUSIC THEY CAN BELIEVE IN AGAIN. these are exciting times. im feeling less cynical by the day. the soldiers of bliss are in the trenches and ready to fight the good fight.
on that note, im excited to be able to announce that ill be back in australia in october with my band. im going to be on tour with my mate missy higgins as well as doing some of my own headline shows. missy and i recorded our albums down the road from each other in l.a. last year.
we went to barbeques together after work sometimes. we like each other's music. that’s reason enough to tour together in my book.
anyway, i have one hour of reality tv to indulge in before i get back in the van. see you in october."
