Fresh off a national tour of sell-out shows with Faker wowing crowds with their synth-tastic power, rising Sydney electronica-rockers Grafton Primary have paved the way for their own headlining tour in support of their new single ‘She Knows It’.
With a driving bass line, synth-scapes and hooked up lyrics that journey from the old world to the new, ‘She Knows It’ is the first taste of Grafton Primary’s hotly anticipated debut album due out later this year.
The band will be launching ‘She Knows It’ in Adelaide at The Rocket Bar on Friday 27 June, Melbourne at Revolver on Saturday 28 June, Sydney at Spectrum on Friday 4 July, and Brisbane at Rosie’s on Friday 11 July.
Along for the ride will be indie-whiz kid E.L.F. (aka Darren Cross from Gerling). He, of impeccable DJ taste and original dance tracks, will support Grafton Primary on tour alongside local supports in each city.
Grafton Primary released their debut EP Relativity late last year to great response, and went on to make a stellar remix of Faker’s ‘This Heart Attack’. The trio recently released an electrifying video clip for the title-track of their EP, which has seen life on Channel [V], rage, and triple j tv.
Now with the Faker tour under their belt, Grafton Primary are heading back into the studio to work on their album before the single launches. 2008 is shaping up to be an excellent year for Grafton Primary – don’t you know it!
