As part of the Contemporary Music Touring Program, The Basics will be taking their harmonious pop melodies to High Schools around the country as well as playing some of the most rural and remote areas outback Australia has to offer. The Contemporary Music Touring Program aims to give all Australians, wherever they live, better access to some of the country’s best live contemporary music.
For an exclusive audience of teachers and students, all Basics High School shows are in support of nationaal counselling organisation Lifeline and are free; however a gold coin donation upon entry is encouraged to help this invaluable support service. Lifeline is a national 24 hour, seven day a week counselling hotline and is staffed by teams of dedicated volunteers. The Sunshine Reggae Band will support them throughout.
