We Don't Need to Whisper

After Blink 182 went on their hiatus at the start of 2005, guitarist/vocalist Tom Delonge kept quiet for months, disappearing from the public eye. At the end of the year he posted a comment on the Blink 182 website saying he is making the greatest rock band ever and it will change the world with other band members, David Kennedy (Box Car Racer) on Guitar, Ryan Sinn (The Distillers) on Bass and Atom Willard (The Offspring) on Drums

In December, their song titled ‘The Adventure’ was leaked onto the internet as some say, a strategic move against his former band mates from Blink 182 (Mark Hoppus and Travis Baker) who released a song from their new band (Plus-44) the day before.

In April of 2006 the whole album was leaked onto the internet days before their first concert in the UK. The album was released here in Australia on the 17th of May.

The album starts off with the song 'Valkyrie Missile' which has a 2:40 intro of heavy guitar, drums, bass and all types of different effects, which will be the general sound for the album.

As you listen, you hear the big anthem songs Tom promised, with every single number being as good as the next. At the end of the album, you feel are left with this feeling that you just listened to some unique and amazing that makes you want to listen to it again and again.

With rumors they are touring Australia soon, I would get along to go see them, I know I will!
