Kisschasy - Opinions Won't Keep You Warm At Night

Opinions Won't Keep You Warm At Night is the first single from Kisschasy’s new album Hymns For The Non-Believer.

When I first heard the song I didn’t really like it but it grew on me after numerus listens and it has become a song I don’t mind putting on. It’s a typical Kisschasy song with lyrics about something meaningful along with a catchy chorus; though the stand out part of the song is the guitar in the bridge of the song which kinda makes the song worth listening to.

Accompanied with the single are two cover tracks being Berlin Chair, originally by You Am I and Blubber Boy, originally by Regurgitator.

Never been a real fan of You Am I so I can’t really comment on how they pulled the song off but I find it quite boring and plan and basically not worth listening to.

On the other hand the cover of Blubber Boy isn’t that bad at all. It’s in a different key compared to the original though, most likely so he can sing it. Kisschasy make the song theirs without changing the original much at all apart from the key change. It’s a very good cover and I was pretty impressed with it.
